The Fearful One

The Fearful One

First family T

After we

Sibling slow

Holding back

Screeching colour

Stifling sound

Pensively looking around

Limbs wobble tiptoeing

Zero warning

Threw us in

Go be who you be

In new free

Without she

Holding list I can’t read

Others barely breathe

Panic seeping in

How can we win

Following trail

Inhaled new tasting smell

Choke splutter cough

Can’t hear through the fog

Fear I’ll get lost

Sibling digs in tight

No fight left for this plight

Too crowded down there

Scared we’d run out of air

…

…

Miss our ebb and flow

she lost control

Better the devil you don’t know
